Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the US. She is a performer, actress, comedian and singer. Most notable is her role as a participant on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2002. In the years since, she has starred in the ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her acting career at Northwestern University. She initially studied voice but changed to acting when she became involved with the improv comedy group on campus. She carried that same spirit throughout her other roles, such in the roles of Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character from Suburgatory as well as Karen Grisham the eccentric agent on Lady Dynamite. She has acted in Telenovelas, the HBO series Eastbound & Down & Capadocia and Amazon's Goliath. Reguera is a native of Veracruz, Mexico.
